Tweak Interactive, an interface design and usability firm in Portland, Oregon, has an immediate opening for an Interactive Senior Producer. The Interactive Senior Producer works in tandem with the Executive Producer to set client expectations, implement tactical plans that meet client strategic goals, as well as oversee schedules, budgets and quality control, and manage a growing team of Interactive Producers and Coordinators. The Interactive Senior Producer candidate must have five or more years of experience in interactive media (web, Flash) with experience in marketing communications for business-to-business companies, and at least three years experience managing web and other interactive media projects. Print experience is a plus. [In rare cases we will be flexible on this requirement if the Candidate can demonstrate senior level experience managing other marketing media projects and teams.] Candidate should enjoy daily contact with client teams and view themselves as the bridge to the Tweak team, facilitating strong working relationships. Prefer a BA/BS degree with a major in marketing, communications, business. Demonstrable working knowledge of the following technologies is required: Microsoft Project, HTML, Flash, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office. Demonstrable understanding of and experience managing: budget vs. actuals spreadsheets, versioned-control documents, MS Project schedules. Knowledge of current Internet marketing best practices and current technologies required. Knowledge of usability principles and methodologies a plus.
Major responsibilities of the Interactive Senior Producer:
- Working with the Executive Producer, designers and developers, contribute to strategic planning sessions to ensure our solution will meet clients' marketing and business goals; guide clients through the process of translating their goals into a web and/or interactive media plan
- Manage Project Manager(s) and Project Coordinator(s), who are responsible for the daily management of project schedule, budgets, documentation, as well as project management systems and policies
- Contribute to project proposals and development of Statements of Work. Effectively identify project risks and mitigate appropriately
- Determine and document: measurable project goals, stakeholders and their responsibilities, potential risks and mitigation plans
- Oversee project schedules that meet client business objectives; manage overall Tweak production schedule to ensure proper allocation of resources. Provide weekly status reports to Executive Producer and to client
- Apply User-centered Design process effectively and be able to identify how to modify the process for specific situations
- Facilitate team and client communication: act as the conduit for client communication to team, document client change requests, update project plans as necessary
- Oversee project budgets in a budget vs. actuals spreadsheet; assign work orders to team members; track budget expenditures on a weekly basis
- Along with the Executive Producer, manage client expectations regarding goals, schedules, budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Contribute to new business development efforts, brainstorming and managing pitches and proposal development, as well as internal marketing efforts

Salary range for this position is $45K - 60K, depending on experience.
