User Profiles
At the heart of our UCD process are your customers' motivations and their goals at your site.

Who are they and why are they there? How can you give them what they want, when they want it, and how they want it? These are the questions we ask and answer in the process of developing User Profiles.

Often, you have more than one group of users visiting your site. Some may be shoppers who want to be able to find a specific product, make the decision to buy and move straight through the checkout process. Others may be new prospects or media professionals who need information about your company's structure and vision.

By way of focus groups, informal interviews and secondary research, we develop a series of profiles that represent each of your user groups. We also can rely on the research your team has already gathered, so we're not reinventing the wheel. We "bring them to life" by creating profiles with fictional names, representative interests, likes and dislikes, buying habits and defined goals at your site. We also use these profiles to help us recruit the right users for usability testing.

Once we know who you want to reach we get to the task of deciding how you're going to do that online by building the blueprint for the site content and interaction in site architecture.
